“Computational Geothermal Energy Applications” is the title of a Special Issue of the journal Energies that will serve as a guide for specific problems of Geothermal Energy. It will include the presentation of ideas, methods, and results related to computational fluid dynamics and heat transfer in solids, liquids, and gases, with specific geothermal applications, including heat pumps. All modes of heat and mass transfer, such as conduction, convection, diffusion, radiation, and phase change, will be specifically addressed.
